Actually, the adored pineapple makes its appearance in episode one, when Shawn sneaks into Gus’ apartment. He grabs the pineapple and says, “Should I slice this up for the road?” It just kind of became a thing from there—Psych’s mascot, if you will. They hide a pineapple in every episode and make a contest out of who can find it. Shawn refers to it as “the golden deliciousness” in an episode and asks of pineapple upside-down cake, “Are you a fan of delicious flavor?”

It’s very random, yet awesome. Just kind of a little thing that only long-time Psych fans find amusing in episodes. I’m glad you asked, though, because now you can play along! So, anon, now that you’re privy to the golden deliciousness, I have but one question for you:
